LIGHTHOUSE IS
HELPING TACKLE
POVERTY!

The pandemic has added 1.3 million Zimbabweans to the 7.9 million already in extreme poverty in the country. At Lighthouse we are taking action.

The Story,

What We Do.

Lighthouse is a relief and development agency working to support Zimbabwe’s poorest and most needy communities regardless of race, creed or religion. We support humanitarian projects across all ten provinces in Zimbabwe.

OUR CAUSES

We make a  living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

What We Have Done.

EDUCATION

WE HAVE DONATED BOOKS

AND STATIONERY.

Education for the poor is not just a right, it is a route to survival. There are thousands of Zimbabwean children being forced to abandon school because of lack of school fees.

WATER

WE HAVE BUILT WELLS

FOR SAFE WATER.

Water is a very basic human necessity and a vital natural resource for all aspects of life. Unfortunately, many are lacking access to clean water due to poverty.

FOOD

WE HAVE AVAILED FOOD

TO THOSE WITHOUT.

Among the most prevalent issues for impoverished children in Zimbabwe which include education, sanitation and access to potable water, malnutrition might be the biggest.

PEOPLE SPEAK!

What they say about our work.

I am not afraid of failing to be a Doctor anymore. With the scholarship I received from Lighthouse, I know anything is possible now.

Thank you Lighthouse for the water tank installation. Without safe water a diarrheal breakout was imminent. Our children are safe.
